The weather is nice almost all of the time! Yes, we admit, Arizona is HOT! Beyond hot in most areas, however Sedona and Northern AZ. tend to run at least 5 to sometimes 10 degrees cooler than Phoenix and it’s surrounding areas. We do have the awesome Monsoon Season from Mid-July through Sept. which can create havoc on any outdoor setting, so make sure you do your diligence if you decide to take your chances during these months. And the Summer, while it is definitely cooler than the Valley of the Sun, it is still incredibly HOT at times.
We strongly suggest doing everything in your power or control to do what you can to keep your guests cool if you plan a late in the day ceremony while the sun is still shining during the months of let’s say roughly Mid April all the way through October. A tented ceremony is a must if you don’t want guests to swelter and pass out as you’re saying your vows. Other things to consider are misters, hand fans, a water station with ice and even umbrellas can help with the heat.
